The engagement focused on strengthening the LACC’s institutional capacity, including asset verification, investigation and prosecution, legal sanctions for non-compliant asset declarants, and resource mobilization.
The parties agreed to further review the proposed areas of support and conduct a technical working session to ensure the project responds to the Commission’s current priorities and institutional needs.
The LACC welcomes continued partnership with the European Union in strengthening Liberia’s anti-corruption framework.
